The edge of language science. Two questions. Is there a scientific ranking of language efficiency? I suppose that a Chinese whisper  will have different outcomes for the loss of information for different languages. And this could be measurement for language efficiency. Why are there more problems and corruption in former French colonies than there is in former English colonies? My assumption is that this is because the way French shapes the thoughts of its speakers. And somehow French causes more misunderstanding. A example is Hispaniola . The French part ( Haiti ) is always in problems, while the Dominican Republic is less so. My theory is that the Celtic languages disappeared because they were less efficient. And they are less efficient because of the culture of playing with the semantics. By playing with semantics groups could identify themselves among themselves. Like a secret sauce over the language for the group. More poetic and playful, but less clear. French has maintained this
